Well hey you should know Jin gave into his darkness multiple times and besides you would need to compare their strength in their fights against Akuma and Ogre.

As of now, Ryu’s still probably weaker than Akuma, and Jin is stronger than both of them. He finally managed to cleanse all of the darkness of his Devil Gene and channel it into a more pure and angelic form being Angel Jin. It was all thanks to Jin working with his Devil Gene and making a more positive relationship and future with him.
