Its just a resemblance. The design of Yasunori Katō as well as General Washizaki have served as classic inspirations for countless fictional characters, including Bison.
It looks as very "not-taking-itself-seriously" silly (which tbh is for the best) as I expected but kinda in a good way.

I first heard about this series last year on Anime News Network. I get Hi Score Girl vibes off it (good thing because I liked that series very much).
The use of direct-feed SF6 footage doesn’t really blend well with the anime's art though, it makes the whole thing look kinda off. I will still watch this however.
The GL manga series, Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games, is getting an anime adaptation later this year. Street Fighter 6 will be the main attraction when it comes to the fighting game the characters are playing.

I'm late with posting this but the beloved voice actor Dave Mallow sadly passed away earlier this week at the age of 76. According to TMZ he's been suffering from health issues for a while.
Mallow has a long list of impressive works in his voice acting career which includes animation, films, and TV shows, and in the gaming space he was (for us in the FG community atleast) best known as the English voice of Akuma. He also voiced Gouken in Street Fighter Alpha: Generations.
Rest in peace mister Mallow, and thank you for all your hard work.❤️🙏

I mean sure, the interactions between Sub-Zero and Street Fighter characters in Fortnite are effectively just people cosplaying from within the game itself, but nevertheless this is to date the closest we have to a true "official" collaboration between the two series.
I suggest you ask the admins for advice on that. The status on what Ingrid actually is is a bit of a headache.

Peter "Navy" Tuiasosopo, who portrayed E. Honda in the '94 Street Fighter film, has sadly passed away. News of the actor's passing was confirmed by his son, Manoah Peter Tuiasosopo, in a Facebook post this week.
Capcom released their own statement about Peter's death as well.
