Alternative Catch is one of Area's special attacks in the Street Fighter EX series.
Description
Executed by performing a half-circle back motion and pressing kick, Area leaps forward and grabs the opponent's neck, vaulting over them. Alternative Catch has two followup attacks known as Front and Back. Pressing back and kick during the grab has her preform Front, where she does not switch sides. Instead, she uses her momentum to double kick the opponent's stomach and knock them down. Back can be preformed by pressing forward and kick during the grab, where she kicks off of the opponent's back, switching sides as they are knocked down.
