Executed by pressing Heavy Punch, followed by Heavy Kick in succession during mid-jump, Ibuki first performs a spinning back fist. If the first attack hits and if Ibuki is still in the air, she finishes the air combo with an axe kick.
In previous renditions, this move is Ibuki's Target Combo 1.
This target combo can only be used when Ibuki is in the air. This air combo is most optimal after Ibuki hits her opponent with the EX version of Kunai to launch them in the air or during a juggle combo with her Rokushaku Horokudama. By immediately following the EX Kunai or V-Trigger with Heavy Kasumigake, she inflict a decent amount of damage and score a knockdown at the same time. In addition, Ibuki lands fairly close to her opponent. This allows her to maintain offensive pressure and keep her opponent on their heels.
Aoji can be used after the Heavy version Kasumigake or during a jump. Unless her opponent is tall or has a large hitbox, it can be challenging for Ibuki to hit this air combo on a jump-in. While her Heavy command dash is slow and can be easily telegraphed, Ibuki decends slightly slower than her regular jump-in. This makes it easier for Ibuki to hit her opponent with both Heavy attacks. This is often done in post Stun sequences.
