Description[]

ArakumaInashi

Karin flipping Cammy over using Arakuma Inashi.

Executed by performing a full circle motion for either side and pressing kick, Karin attempts to grab her opponent; if successful, she knees them twice then drops them to the ground. This has an identical whiff animation to a regular throw.

In Street Fighter V, the move is performed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) and pushing backwards near an opponent. Karin grabs the oppnent's arm, steps underneath and flips them over, causing them to land on their back. It is similar to her special attack in Street Fighter Alpha 3. However, the knee strikes were removed and is downgraded as one of her regular throws.

Tactics[]

This move does slightly more damage than her regular throws, has slightly increased range and is an excellent wake-up move. Like most close-range command grabs, it also cancels quick proximity attack attempts if used precisely.

In Street Fighter V, this move resets the neutral game, creating space between Karin and her opponent. It does slightly more damage than her forward throw, Hajotsui. Karin can also use her back throw to put the opponent back in the corner, allowing her to maintain offensive pressure. However, if her opponent quickrises, then Karin will be at a slight frame disadvantage.
