Executed by pressing forward and all three punches after blocking an attack, Oro performs a one-handed handstand and extends both of his legs toward his opponent to kick them back.
Tactics[]
Like most V-Reversals, the purpose is to stop opponent's pressure or to get out of tough situations. While Oro has an invincible reversal with EX Oni Yanma, it can leave him vulnerable if blocked. The Ashi Barai is a solid, yet safe escape option. If the opponent is constantly pressuring, Oro can use this move to create separation and reset the neutral game. Not only it results in a knockdown, but it also pushes them back to the range where Oro can zone out his opponent with his mid-range normals and projectiles. During the startup frames of this attack, he is invincible to attacks and throws. However, he can still be thrown while performing his V-Reversal.
