|Street Fighter V||+ (Claw attack)|
Executed by performing a quarter-circle back motion and pressing punch with the claw, Vega spins and unleashes a slashing attack with his claw.
The strength of the punch button pressed determines where Vega attacks. The Light version makes Vega slash low at the opponent's legs, sweeping them off of their feet into a knockdown. The Medium version is the more practical version that allows Vega to deliver a horizontal slash toward the opponent. The Heavy Version is mainly used as an anti-air. Vega slashes upward, allowing him to catch opponent's jumping in. It covers more space above him, but less so horizontally. The EX version hits the opponent twice, knocking the opponent across the screen.
The Aurora Spin Edge is one of newest moves that's primarily used to end combos. However, Vega can only use this attack if he is equipped with his claw. Aurora Spine edge can be used as a poke to keep his opponent at a distance. Despite being unsafe on block, Vega is positioned further away after the attack, making it difficult to punish. It can be linked from most of Vega's normals. This move can also be cancelled into his Critical Art for optimal damage.
