Description[]

BadChain

Birdie kicking Cammy's back during Bad Chain.

Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) and pushing backwards near an opponent. Birdie wraps the opponent with his chains and kicks them, causing them to turn around. Birdie then faces the other way and hoists the opponent over his back, releasing them from the chains and launching them to the other side.

Tactics[]

This move is resets the neutral game, creating space between Birdie and the opponent. Birdie can also use his back throw to put the opponent back in the corner, where he excels in applying pressure through his command grabs and combos. While it does significantly less damage compared to his command grabs, it has a faster recovery. This means that Birdie can counter against his opponent if they jump in attempt to avoid his grabs, giving him time to attack. By mixing Birdie's normal throws with his command grabs, it puts the opponent in a difficult situation where they have to guess what he is going to do next, especially when he has positional and frame advantage.
