Tactics
As an overhead attack, the main purpose is to break through the defenses of an opponent who insists on crouch guarding (as the attack must be blocked from a standing position). The draw back causes considerable delay, and this attack can easily be countered by an aggressive opponent by hitting Rashid before he throws it.
On the plus side, this move is a great mix-up tool for Rashid. His game plan is about pressuring the opponent with a combination of throws, frametraps, and quick low attacks that he can cancel into his Spinning Mixer and Whirlwind Shot. The Beak Assault opens up his opponent when they are constantly crouch guarding. Although this move is -4 on block, it can be difficult to punish if he hits this attack at the tip of the elbow.
It also works extremely well while during Rashid's V-Trigger. By using the tornado to propel himself toward his opponent, he can catch them by surprise with his overhead attack. Additionally, it'll be difficult for his opponent to punish Rashid, even if they block it, allowing him to maintain offensive pressure and position.
