Description[]

BigBoot

Executed by pressing forward and all three kicks after blocking an attack, Alex delivers a side kick toward his opponent, knocking them backwards.

Like most V-Reversals, the purpose is to stop opponent's pressure or to get out of tough situations. If the opponent is constantly pressuring, Alex can use this move to create space and reset the neutral game.

Trivia[]

  • Even though the name of the move is Big Boot, it is actually a common wrestling move known as the Superkick. It is famously the finisher of WWE Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels, who calls it Sweet Chin Music and occasionally adds theatrics before using the move. The Young Bucks also use the move as a tag team, as well as The Usos and the female WWE wrestler Carmella.
  • The actual Big Boot is an attack is usually done with the opponent charging towards the wrestler, using the opponent's momentum to deliver the wrestler's sole to the upper-body or head. Alex himself uses a Big Boot for his Standing Heavy Kick.
    • This move is commonly performed by tall wrestlers to enhance its view as a strong attack even though the wrestler themselves are not moving and the opponent is running into the foot, and because of that their height makes it easy for their legs to reach the head of normal-sized wrestlers.
    • It has been used as a signature move by many real-life professional wrestlers, most of them being big men such as WWE superstars The Undertaker, Kane, Snitsky and Big Cass. Some, such as the late Test, have used it as a finisher, and even wrestlers Sami Zayn and Billie Kay have also used it as a finisher as well (being named the Helluva kick and Shades of Kay, respectively), with both being smaller sized than their contemporaries.
