Zangief's stage in Super Street Fighter II
Big Factory (大工場?) is Zangief's home stage that was introduced in Street Fighter II, and it is located in a Russian factory.
Description
Zangief became famous in the world of underground pro wrestling. Now that challengers from around the world are coming to the Soviet Union, he was called by the president.[1]
President: "Please show the power of the Soviet Union to the people of the whole world, comrade Zangief. I wonder where would be a suitable place for a lot of spectators to go in..."
Zangief: "Ah, president, do you think that local big factory would be good? Everyone is familiar with it and I think they would enjoy my match."
President: "Well, that's okay over there. Moreover, it can be said that it is a triumph to the working class of our country. Do your best, comrade Zangief!"[1]
The fight takes place inside the large factory. The center of the arena contains the USSR mark (removed in Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers), with some fences and chains nearby. Several people watch the fight.
