Street Fighter V Arcade Stick HCB+Arcade Button Kick

Description[]

Brimstone

R. Mika lifts Cammy up while using Brimstone.

Executed by performing a half-circle backward motion and pressing kick, R. Mika flips over her opponent and lifts them up over her shoulders. She then slams her opponent onto the ground.

In the EX variation, after R. Mika throws her opponent to the ground, Yamato Nadeshiko drops from above and drives her elbow into the opponent's back.

Tactics[]

BrimstoneNadeshiko

Yamato Nadeshiko drives her elbow into Cammy's back at the end of EX Brimstone.

The strength of the kick button determines the range and damage inflicted. The Light version does the least amount of damage, but has the longer range. The Heavy version has the shortest range, but inflicts the most damage. The EX version has the longer range and inflicts more damage, compared to her normal versions.

This is a great command throw that leaves R. Mika very close to her opponent. This is the command throw that's often used when resetting the opponent in order to keep up momentum. While this move does less damage, compared to other command throw, Rainbow Typhoon, it is a good way to keep the opponent in the corner. However, the range for this command grab is considerably worse than Rainbow Typhoon. Even a short string of normal attacks can put R. Mika out of range to whiff Brimstone and leave her defenseless.

Because it's a command grab, this move cannot be blocked. It is great for keeping the opponent guessing, as well as utilizing tick throws. With it's fast startup, she can use this move to break their defenses and deal a large chunk of damage. R. Mika can condition her opponent to constantly block her offensive pressure, and surprise them with her command throws.

In addition, this move can be paired with R. Mika's V-Skill, which increases the damage of all of her normal throws and command throws. Depending on the level of intensity R. Mika uses her Mic Performance, she can increase the damage of this command grab from 120-140 to as high as 1080-1260. While achieving the max level of R. Mika's V-Skill to obtain the highest damage output seems unlikely, she can use Mic Performance to make her command throws even scarier.
