|Street Fighter V||+>+>+|
Description[edit | edit source]
Executed by performing a quarter-circle backward motion and pressing Medium Kick, followed by pressing down and Light Kick, then down and Heavy Punch, Kolin performs a backwards half-step spin with a forward dash follow-up. During the dash, she delivers a low kick to her opponent. Once the initial attack connects, Kolin follows-up with an upward, spinning back fist.
Tactics[edit | edit source]
This move is one of Kolin's three target combos she can use that links from Medium Vanity Step. This combo forces her opponent to crouch block, since the first attack hit low. Kolin can try to open up her opponent and surprise them with this combo. If she is able to hit them with her first attack, then the second attack results in a guaranteed launch. However, her Crouching Heavy Punch has a high profile. If her opponent is crouching, the second attack whiffs, leaving Kolin defenseless for a brief moment.
The damage inflicted is slightly lower, compared to her other target combos. However, this combo is actually -2 on block, making it one of the safest target combos in the game. In addition, landing the combo successfully not only launches her opponent, but it gives her a variety of options for follow-up. Kolin can cancel the second hit into her second V-Trigger to amplify her offense and pressure game. Then on the descent, she can use EX Parabellum for an additional juggle combo to inflict more damage.
Brincle also gives Kolin some unique looks to create some tricky reset situations. After launching her opponent, she can cancel into a second Medium Vanity Step and hit her opponent with Standing Light Kick or Standing Medium Punch to put them in a reset scenario. Kolin then can go for a throw mix-up or a fish for a Crush Counter hit for even more damage.
