Bull Revenger

The Bull Revenger (ブルリベンジャー, Buru Ribenjaa^?) is one of Birdie's Super Combos in the Street Fighter Alpha series and one of his special moves in Street Fighter V.

Description

Birdie wrapping his chains around Cammy when the Bull Revenger connects.

Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing either punch or kick, Birdie jumps forward into a combination of Murderer and Bandit Chains. The distance Birdie jumps and amount of ground slams he performs depend on the punch or kick button pressed: the punch button's range covers the closer half of the screen, while the kick button covers the further half of the screen.

In Street Fighter V, the Bull Revenger is now one of Birdie's special attacks. Executed by performing a half-circle back motion and pressing kick, Birdie leaps toward the opponent with and throws his arms down. If he is close to the opponent, he wraps the chains around their body and slams them to the ground multiple times. After the final slam, he throws his arms upward, releasing the opponent and sending them tumbling on their back.

Tactics

Birdie slams Cammy to the ground using Bull Revenger.

This version covers the shortest distance, while the Heavy version covers almost fullscreen. The EX version comes out the fastest, adds one more hit to the move.

All versions have Birdie in the air for a brief moment, making it easier to avoid low attacks and approach the opponent. If Birdie can condition his opponent to constantly block his suffocating offensive pressure, he can use this move to break their defenses and deal a large chunk of damage. Overall, this is a great grappling move that can be very dangerous for the opponent if Birdie can keep them guessing.
