The Bushin Izuna Otoshi (武神イズナ落とし, "Warrior God Izuna Drop") is one of Guy's special attacks, introduced in the Street Fighter Alpha series.

Input
All appearances Quarter-circle forward + Punch (+ Punch for followup)

Description

Executed by performing a quarter-circle forward motion and pressing punch, the attack starts with Guy somersaulting forward into the air.

Depending on which punch button was pressed, the jump might go any of a number of distances: light punch lands half a screen away, medium punch lands almost a full screen away, and heavy punch will land over a full screen away. The EX Special version introduced in Super Street Fighter IV lands where the opponent was when the jump started. At any time during the jump, the player can press punch again to have Guy perform a followup. The type of followup is determined by how close Guy is to the opponent when the button is pressed.

If Guy is any distance from the opponent, he will stop the somersault and flip upright, then drop vertically down with his elbow in front of him for a falling elbow strike. If, however, he is in extreme close range to the opponent, he will grab and flip over them, landing on his feet behind them, and then throwing them by the waist over his head and down into the ground. No matter what buttons are used, the elbow drop is an overhead attack that will always inflict 80 damage if it connects, and the throw (which is unblockable, as with most throws) will always inflict 200 damage[1].
