The Bushin Muso Renge (武神無双連華 Bushin Musō Renge?, "Martial God Unmatched Lotus Blossom"), also known as Bushin Muso Renka (武神無双連刈 Bushin Musō Renka?, "Martial God Unmatched Chain Reap") in the Alpha series, is one of Guy's Super Combos, introduced in the Street Fighter Alpha series and revamped for his second Ultra Combo in Super Street Fighter IV. SFA Bushin Muso Renge

Guy's Bushin Muso Renka beating Sodom in Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold

Introduced in Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, it is at times compared with the Shun Goku Satsu (especially the Street Fighter IV version) due to it being somewhat visually similar, as well as, to an extent, in damage. It is however harder to pull off as Guy has to be within throw range, like with Zangief, for the attack to connect.

Street Fighter Alpha series[]

Upon connecting, the screen goes black (flashing white with each hit) as Guy does half of his Bushin Gokusa Ken, then does a light kick, a medium kick, and then a roundhouse kick with his crouching elbow punch. Guy then finishes with a Kamaitachi.

Super Street Fighter IV[]

Guy after performing the Renge on Rose

Guy grabs and gut-punches the foe, and roundhouse kicks them away. As the music changes and the screen goes white, he sprints behind them and strikes with a 5-hit combo, knocking them away before catching up again and delivering another 5-hit combo. During the combos, Guy's speed lines and blows are animated with the ink usually associated with Focus Attacks. Guy then finishes with 7 lightning-quick blows (for a total of 19). The foe slumps to the ground afterward.

In SSFIV, it is worth of note that the finishing set of blows is reminiscent of other two Ultra Combos: one for going right through the opponent and the other for the "screen blackout effect".

In both games, Guy ends the move by turning around and putting his hand up. In the Alpha series, if used in a Super Combo Finish, he would remain turned.
