KimberlyElbowsCammy

Kimberly elbowing Cammy's midsection during Bushin Ninjastar Cypher.

Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing punch, Kimberly turns on her Walkman, jamming out to the music for a second while delivering an uppercut to her opponent that launches them in the air. If it hits. Kimberly then throws up a countless amount of spray-paint cans, using them like blades to strike her opponent as she zips around while simultaneously creating a mural on the ground. She finishes the combo with a downward elbow and a final "slash" from her spray-paint, standing before the finished mural with the splashed, downed opponent laying in the middle of the artwork.

When used as a Critical Art, the elbow is replaced by a punch, then follows up with a Nue Twister.

At the end of the move, colored sound waves emit from her headphones, and Kimberly also takes on a different idle stance.

After using this Level 3, the currently playing track is overridden to a special track, which is named after this super, for the rest of the set.

Tactics[]

KimberlyPunchesCammy

Kimberly punching Cammy's face during Bushin Ninjastar Cypher.

Since this is Kimberly's Level 3 Super Art, this is her strongest move in his arsenal. Bushin Ninjastar Cypher is mainly used to end combos and finish off the opponent. She can cancel Bushin Ninjastar Cypher from her normals, unique attacks, or special moves such as Vagabond Edge or Neck Hunter. When Kimberly is down to 25% or less of his health, this move gain an additional boost of damage. She is fully invincible during the startup frames of this move. Even if the opponent blocks, it can inflict a good chunk of provisional damage than may result in a chip KO if the opponent is in blocks the move while in burnout with minimal health. It also has a lengthy cinematic. This allows Kimberly to recover Drive Gauge while simultaneously draining the opponent's meter during her Super Art.

Upon completion of the move, Kimberly gains a buff that increases her attack power and walking speed are increased for the rest of the round. Because Kimberly's damage output is slightly weaker than most of the characters, it's best to perform her Level 3 Super Art as soon as possible so that she can have the increased movement and attack power throughout the rest of the match.

Lyrics[]

  • Bushin Ninjastar Cypher uses an instrumental version of the "Bushin Ninjastar Cypher" track during gameplay, while a vocalized version is available on digital music stores, with vocals performed by Vaughn Faisan and Gabby Byrd. The vocal version also plays if two Kimberlys use her super art three in the same match.

Power up, let's go!
Yeah yeah, take it to the top

Come on, you only live once!
Yeah yeah, gotta shake it up

Oh never surrender your dream (Never give up)
Never give up, never give up (Never give up)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (Never give up)
Woaaah, yeah yeah (Never give up)
Woah! Let's get it!

Dance away every single worry
Let golden memories take you away
Take off in a flash, you are mighty, swift and fast
Feel the flow, stop the show, now here we go!

Yeah yeah yeah, hear the groove and look deep inside (Hey! Di-di-dig deep!)
Woah, yeah yeah, yeah, hear the groove and turn the tide

Never ever back down

You know you have a purpose
With all your wits, no chance you lose

Whoa whoa whoa whoa, can't stop you (Heeeeey)
Hey! You're finding your way back
Took the strength of your heart and valor

Woah woah, give it all you got
The power is in your heart
Woah woah, gotta shoot your shot

Woah, look up and never come down (Never give up)
No no no no no no no (Never give up)
Come on, come on, come on, yeah! (Never give up)
Go higher (Never give up)
Oh, go get it!

Let the the groove into your soul and take control
Shake off every care cause you are powerful
Hear the wisdom of your past
You are strong, you'll outlast
Take it high! Touch the sky!

Come on, let's roll!
Yeah yeah yeah, don't let them darken your shine (Woo! Yeah, take your shine!)
Oh yeah yeah yeah, love yourself and live your life
Like it's your own one

You can be legendary, quicken your step and you'll make it through
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah, you can't lose! (Yeah)

Hey, oh, not today, oh!
Keep it going, going, you know the way!

Always know your worth! Yeah!

Trivia[]

  • The Kagura part of the technique is likely named after a type of traditional Shintō sacred music and dancing that is either performed by Miko to honor the Shintō gods and spirits, or traditional folk dances performed by common folk in front of Shintō shrines. It is also the name for a type of Noh music and dance and a type of Kabuki musical accompaniment.
