Executed by pressing Medium Punch, followed by Heavy Punch, Zeku delivers a punch to his opponent's midsection. If the initial attack connects, he ends the combo with an upward, open-handed chop that causes his opponent to stumble backwards.
This is one Zeku's main target combos from close range. The overall damage for this combo is slightly lower, compared to his other target combos. However, Bushin Soukosou serves as a decent combo starter and excellent extender. Because of its 5-frame startup, Zeku can use this target combo to punish his opponent's unsafe moves. As a combo extender, he can link Bushin Soukosou from Crouching Medium Punch for more damage.
Additionally, this combo can be cancelled into most of Zeku's special attacks such as Bushin Sho, Hozanto, or his V-Trigger. It can also be cancelled into his Critical Art. However, the target combo must hit the opponent in order for Zeku to cancel into his special moves. Also, this target combo is unsafe on block. If the opponent blocks both of Zeku's attacks, they can punish him and inflict a decent amount of damage right back.
