C Tier Fighters

The C Tier Fighters are a group of characters that debuted in Street Fighter: Duel. They are the easiest characters that can be recruited in the game with the cost of having reduced or otherwise absent features of SSS Tier and S Tier characters. As such, they are mostly presented as fighters, thugs, soldiers, and doctors, usually with tragic pasts or ambitious goals, that lead the majority of them to be aligned with Shadaloo, S.I.N., or the Mad Gear Gang.^[1]

C Tier Fighters[]

Akaebo[]

"Molotovs? Gas cans? Light them all!"

Akaebo (赤前坊) is Japanese member of Mad Gear who specializes in throwing molotov cocktails and explosive gas cans. Growing up in poverty, Akaebo's mother struggled to find work and feed their family. He was encouraged by his mother to study and school to ensure a better life for himself.^[1]

Special Attacks

Smash^[2] - Akaebo throws a gas can at the closest opponent.
Combo: Highly Combustible^[1] - Akaebo throws a molotov cocktail that will burn his opponents on impact.
Super Combo: Oil Bombardment^[1] - Akaebo throws a gas can and two molotov cocktails at the opponent that will temporarily set the ground on fire.

Baldwin[]

"Hehe! Burn, baby, burn!"

Baldwin (鲍德温) is an English mechanical engineer, researcher, and soldier working for S.I.N. He built his own massive mech suit equipped with a minigun and flame thrower. Inside the mech suit, he is the largest playable character in Street Fighter: Duel. Dr. Baldwin believed in the ability of machines to advance mankind, if they're perfectly designed. So unwavering is this belief that he immediately balked at the thought that his research could also harm humanity.^[1]

Special Attacks

Machine Gun Blast^[3] - Baldwin fires his minigun at his opponents.
Combo: Heavy Hit^[1] - Baldwin smashes his weapons down on the opponents with the chance for the attack to stun them.
Super Combo: Flame Jets^[1] - Baldwin ignites his flamethrower at his opponents.

Bethany[]

"I'll do the healing on these streets."

Bethany (贝瑟妮) is an unconventional medic and scientist who uses multicolored chemicals to heal her allies or attack her enemies. The daughter of a wealthy Englishman, she was provided pharmaceutical company after her college graduation to further he research into new prototype drugs.^[1]

Special Attacks

Strong Medicine^[4] Bethany heals her teammates with her green solution.
Combo: Supplement Boost^[1] - With a quick dash, Bethany heals herself and her teammates with her green solution.
Super Combo: Performance Enhancers^[1] - Bethany throws her green solution heals 70% of her teammates health. In the same throw, she attacks her opponents with blue and purple solutions.

Carolyn[]

"My Soul Bullets will shatter your defense!"

Carolyn (卡萝琳) is a French woman who serves Shadaloo as a lower ranking member of The Dolls. She is armed with a handgun that fires ammunition called Soul Bullets, a rocket launcher, and the ability to fire a psychokinetic projectile that looks similar to the Psycho Shot. Before working for Shadaloo, Carolyn was a part of a team of fighters. She became disgraced after it was discovered that she won a fighting championship while under the use of an illegal substance.^[1]

Special Attacks

Soul Bullets - Carolyn fires three shots from her gun.
Combo: Psychokinetic Blast^[1] - Carolyn thrusts a psychokinetic sphere at the nearest opponent.
Super Combo: Rocket Barrage^[1] - Carolyn fires three rockets into the air that are targeted at her enemies.

Gary[]

"Have a taste of my morning star!"

Gary, known as Road Hog (罗德哈格) in China^[5], is an American member of the Mad Gear Gang who wields a spiked bat, which he calls his morningstar, into battle. An enforcer for Mad Gear's extortion racket, Gary can get distracted with his knowledge and consumption of bread.^[1]

Special Attacks

Morningstar^[1] - Gary swings his morningstar upward and downward at the nearest opponent.
Combo: Pinwheel^[1] - Gary spins like a top with his morningstar extended outward, nailing and opponent in his path four times.
Super Combo: Earthsplit^[1] - Gary smashes his morningstar to the ground three times with the last smash being done from the air. The impact of his attack causes debris to fly and damage any targets close enough.

Hodi[]

"I'm the boss of these streets!"

Hodi (霍迪) is an American enforcer for Mad Gear Gang who also has some connection to S.I.N.. Having an affinity for alcohol in and out of battle, Hodi will attack his opponents with bottles and barrels after drinking all the booze out of it first.^[1]

Special Attacks

Head Hammer^[6] - Hodi deals a massive headbutt at the nearest opponent.
Combo: Dutch Courage^[1] - Hodi drinks an entire bottle of alcohol, healing 10% of his max health, then smashes it on the ground, striking the nearest enemy twice.
Super Combo: Good-for-Nothing^[1] - Hodi drinks an entire barrel of alcohol then tosses it at the nearest enemy.

Mech Seth[]

"My mecha body gives me limitless strength!"

Mechanical Seth (机械赛斯), or Mech Seth for short, is a cyborg created by the CEO of S.I.N., Seth. Created to serve and represent Seth (as Seth initially did for M. Bison), Mech Seth fights with lasers from his hands and chest.^[1]

Special Attacks

Shock^[7] - Mech Seth fires a blue laser from his hand at his targets.
Combo: Concussive Shell^[1] - Mech Seth fires a blue chest laser at his targets that hits twice.
Super Combo: Laser Cannon^[1] - Mech Seth fires a red chest laser at his targets that lands a five hit combo.

Patrick[]

"Every square inch of this street will be covered by my fire!"

Patrick, known as Mad Rat (迈德赖特) in China^[8], is a Mad Gear Gang member recruited by Belger personally. Also known as the "Raging Flamingo", Patrick wields a weapon that acts as both a submachine gun and a stun grenade launcher and can launch guided missiles at his opponents.^[1]

Special Attacks

Shoot^[8] - Patrick will fire several shots from his SMG.
Combo: Stun Grenade^[1] - Patrick fires a stun grenade at his targets that will burn on impact.
Super Combo: Guided Missile^[1] - Patrick launches a guided missile that strikes the nearest opponents four times. After the launch, he will also spray a round of gunfire.

Phillip[]

"My sword cuts through everything, like a hot knife through butter."

Phillip (菲利普) is Shadaloo swordsman who wields twin energy swords. His master's training comprised years of tasks like chopping wood and fetching spring water from a mountain.^[1]

Special Attacks

Cut Combo^[9] - Phillip hits his opponent with two sword slashes.
Combo: Dragon Slash^[1] - Philip leaps into the air and does two aerial slashes.
Super Combo: Cross Slash^[1] - Philip rushes the opponents and attacks with rapid strikes.

Ron[]

"M. Bison, sir! I will take care of these pests for you!"

Ron (罗恩) is a Shadaloo Trooper who is equipped specialized gauntlets that emits hard light and electricity. The son of a farmer in a long line of farmers from a small village, Ron chose to leave and do more with his life.^[1]

Special Attacks

Fist Combo^[10] - Ron hits his opponent with a One-Two Combo.
Combo: Faction Fist^[1] - Ron winds both fists back and lunges forward with two simultaneous, electrified punches.
Super Combo: Riot Control^[1] - Ron does a three punch combo that creates a purple hard light barrier called the Lightshield. He then rushes the opponent with the Lightshield to knock them back.

Sanji[]

"Expert blade skills are what you need to be top dog on these streets!"

—Sanji

Sanji (桑吉斯) is a French member of the Mad Gear Gang who specializes in knife fighting. He had dealt with a prolonged period being harassed, bullied, and robbed. Against the concerns of his professor, Sanji dropped out of school and decided that his fists would serve him better in life.^[1]

Special Attacks

Heavy Kick^[11] - Sanji hits his target with a straight punch then a heavy side kick.
Combo: Stabby Stabby^[1] - Sanji stabs the opponent three times in quick succession.
Super Combo: Whirling Blades^[1] - Sanji slashes the opponent downward and upward then thrusting the knife into their chest. He finishes the opponent by kicking them in their chest, dislodging the knife.

Unused C Tier Fighters[]

Aris

Aris (亚力士) was a Shadaloo soldier that was seen in some of the earliest trailers of Street Fighter: Duel but never made it to the game's full release. ^[12]
