The Calamity Shutter is Seth's V-Reversal, introduced in Street Fighter V.
Street Fighter V | + (During guard) |
---|
Description[]
Executed by pressing forward and all three punches after blocking an attack, Seth swings his fist down on top of the opponent, knocking them back.
Tactics[]
Like most V-Reversals, the purpose is to stop opponent's pressure or to get out of tough situations. The Calamity Shutter is a solid escape option. If the opponent is constantly pressuring, Seth can use this move to create separation and reset the neutral game. During the startup frames of this attack, he is invincible to attacks and projectiles. However, he can still be thrown by his opponent. Performing this V-Reversal costs one bar of V-Meter, but it recovers about a fifth of Seth's stun gauge.

Trivia[]
- Befitting Seth's usage of copied attacks, Calamity Shutter resembles M. Bison's own Psycho Vanish.
- It is possible that the move is actually meant to be read as Calamity Shatter, as both shutter and shatter are pronounced similarly in Japanese.
