Description[]
Executed by pressing forward and Heavy Punch, A.K.I. steps forward and thrusts both her hands into her opponent's body, skewering them with her talons.
Tactics[]
This move gives A.K.I. an advancing midrange poke. Despite its 16-frame startup and being -4 on block, it can be difficult for the opponent to punish due to the move's pushback. This move can also be cancelled into A.K.I.'s Super Art to not only inflict maximum damage, but also puts the opponent in a poisoned state. However, unless A.K.I. cancels into her Super Art, Chi Wen can be vulnerable to the opponent's Drive Impact.
Trivia[]
- Chī wěn (螭吻) is one of the nine sons of the Dragon King. The chī wěn is a hybrid of a fish and a dragon that likes swallowing, and are placed on both ends of the ridgepoles of roofs to swallow all evil influences.
