Description[]
- "Fire two interlocked shockwaves of Psycho Power directly forward. Easy to work into combos or to use as a counter attack, even when performed at close range."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing punch, JP creates a cross-shaped projectile of Psycho Power, rapidly launching it at his opponent.
Tactics[]
The initial cane swing is its own hit that combos into the main projectile. Chornobog can be used as a combo ender, a reversal, and an anti-projectile option. It can be cancelled from most of JP's normals or linked from his OD special moves like Triglav. JP is also fully invincible during the startup frames of this attack, making it a solid reversal option if he is in Burnout. While the vertical hitbox for this move is somewhat limited, it can be used as an anti-air. This move travels fullscreen and results in a knockdown. It also creates enough separation where JP can continue zoning out the opponent with projectiles or use Departure to keep the opponent guessing.
Trivia[]
- Chornobog (чорнобог), literally "Black God", is the Polybian god of misfortune.
