Startup of Claws of Ya Zi
The Claws of Ya Zi (睚眦 Japanese: Gaishi; Pinyin: Yázì?, Angry Eyes) is one of A.K.I.'s Super Arts, introduced in Street Fighter 6.

Description
- "Pierces various pressure points on the body that detonates from within. A versatile move that can get around projectiles, be used in combos, and serve as a potent counterattack."

Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing punch, A.K.I. steps forward and pivots 180° on her front leg to jab her rear set of claws into her opponent's side, causing them to double over. A.K.I. then slithers right in front of her opponent's face. As the opponent attempts to counterattack with a punch, A.K.I. slides out of the way before pricking them with the claw on her middle finger on their lower back, injecting poison. From behind, she tilts the opponent's head to the side and jabs their neck with the claw of her ring finger. After jabbing poison into the opponent's thigh, she then pricks them twice in the midsection. After A.K.I.'s final prick to the opponent's forehead, the screen then cuts to a diagram of the entry points of her jabs, and the opponent's nervous system. A second later, A.K.I. leans back while the opponent's body bursts with the poison she injected into them.

When used as a Critical Art, purple chains attached to her claws are affixed to several areas from where A.K.I. stabs the opponent; including the initial prick in the midsection, lower back, sternum, and both sides of the hip. A.K.I. then rises to her feet and pulls on the elongated chains to tighten them around their body, arms, and legs. Next she jabs the opponent's forehead with the claw on her index finger, causing their eyes to roll up and leaving them paralyzed as she walks away. Finally, A.K.I. raises her arms and finishes the attack by retracting the set chains, causing the opponent's body to burst with the injected poison inside them.
Tactics
Claws of Ya Zi is A.K.I.'s Level 3 Super Art, making it her strongest move in her arsenal. She can cancel this move from her normals, unique attacks, or special moves such as her projectile, Serpent Lash or Heel Strike. When A.K.I. is down to 25% or less of his health, this move gain an additional boost of damage. It also has a lengthy cinematic animation, allowing A.K.I to recover Drive Meter while draining at least two bars from her opponent. She is fully invincible during the startup frames of this move. A.K.I. can travel about 1/3 of the screen while performing this move, allowing her to finish combos from a distance. At the end of Claws of Ya Zi, A.K.I. is nearly 3/4 of the screen away from the opponent. This allows her to continue zoning out her opponent with Nightshade Pulse, or perform Qiu Niu from a Drive Rush to maintain offensive pressure.
Trivia
- Yázì (睚眦) is one of the nine sons of the Dragon King of Chinese mythology. The yázì is said to be the hybrid of a dhole and a dragon, likes to fight, is naturally aggressive and is normally found on cross-guards on sword as ornaments.
- The splash screen behind the opponent during the Super Art variation depicts a Ba gua (八卦) map.
