The Crimson Terror (クリムゾンテラー Kurimuzon Teraa?) is one of Vega's special attacks, introduced in Street Fighter V.

Description
Executed by performing a quarter-circle forward motion and pressing kick, Vega launches into a forwards roll that hits the opponent multiple times. On the last roll, Vega full extends himself, hitting the opponent with a somersault kick.
Tactics
The Crimson Terror is mainly used to end combos. The kick button used determines how far his roll travels. The Light version covers the shortest distance. Not only it has the fastest startup, but it also leaves Vega very close to the opponent. However, just like the Medium Version, it does not result in a knock down. The Heavy Version, on the other hand, does lead to a knock down. It also covers the furthest distance, giving Vega an effective tool to carry the opponent into the corner. Besides the EX version, the Crimson Terror leaves Vega unsafe if the opponent blocks it.
Prior to Season 4, the EX version had the hit count increased, covered the furthest distance, and did the most damage. The EX version also lead to a knock down, allowing Vega to close the distance to continue the offensive pressure.
Following Season 4, the EX version was revamped dramatically in its utility, losing much of its damage and distance, but instead ending in a Scarlet Terror backflip that launched the opponent and allowed Vega to continue a combo, such as an EX Flying Barcelona Attack or a Crouching Heavy Kick.
