Dashing Straight (突進頭部打撃(仮) Tosshin Tōbu Dageki (Kari)?, Charging Head Strike (Assumed Name)) is one of Q's special attacks, introduced in the Street Fighter III series. With a slight change in button input, the move can also become the Dashing Head Attack (突進頭頂部打撃(仮) Tosshin Tōchō-bu Dageki (Kari)?, Charging Calvaria Strike (Assumed Name)).

Input
(All appearances)
Dashing Straight Arcade Stick CBArcade-Stick-Right+Arcade Button Punch
Dashing Head Attack Arcade Stick CBArcade-Stick-Right+Punch hold

Description[]

Executed by holding back and then pressing forward and punch, the attack does exactly what its name suggests: Q dashes forward and throws a straight punch. The attack performed is determined by how long the punch button is held; if it is only pressed, Q will throw a straight punch at around shoulder height. If it is held, he will perform the Dashing Head Attack, where he swings in an exaggerated overhead blow similar to Balrog's Dash Swing Blow.

The distance Q dashes is determined by the punch button pressed; light punch goes a short distance, medium punch goes just short of half screen, and heavy punch travels just short of a full screen.[1] The EX version bounces the opponent off the wall, making it useful for juggles.[1]
