Description[]
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) near an opponent. Seth first grabs his opponent by the collar and lifts them up in the air to insult them. Finally, he effortlessly tosses his opponent in front of or behind him, depending on which directional input is used. If no directional input or button is pressed after the forward throw, Seth arrogantly shrugs and shakes his head before dropping back to his stance. If no directional input or button is pressed after the back throw, Seth taunts his opponent before dropping back to his stance.
Tactics[]
This move an ideal way for Seth to reset the neutral game. It puts him in good range away from his opponent. While each version inflicts the same amount of damage and stun, Seth gains more meter using the back throw. After the throw, Seth can keep his opponent back with one of his special moves, such as Hecatoncheires or Cruel Disaster. If his opponent quick rises, Seth can to throw out a meaty poke from mid-range, such as Step Shoot, to easily confirm in to his Shoot Slicer target combo. Seth can also use Hazard Blow to fish for a Crush Counter hit if he catches them trying to retaliate.
Trivia[]
- Seth is the second character in Street Fighter V to have his forward throw the same as his back throw. The other is Urien with his Spartan Bomb.
