Description[]
- "Grab the opponent, ride on their back as you descend, then send them skidding along the ground on impact. Throws your opponent without switching places with them."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) near an opponent in the air, Rashid first places a foot on the opponent's chest and rotates inward. This not only causes the opponent to spin in midair, but lets Rashid adjusts his position so that he is directly above his opponent. He drives his front foot into the opponent's back as both of them descend toward the ground. As the opponent crashes stomach first onto the ground, Rashid slides across the ground on his opponent like a surfboard before hopping back off.
Tactics[]
Rashid has a variety of anti-airs to make his opponent second-guess about jumping such as Standing Heavy Kick, Crouching Medium Punch, or Heavy Spinning Mixer. While Rashid has decent air-to-air attacks, his air throw is very rewarding. With a 5-frame startup, Rashid can quickly surprise the opponent with his Desert Slider at the last minute. When Rashid lands on the ground to slide his opponent across the screen, it gives him solid corner carry. Once he has them in the corner, Rashid can perform a Drive Rush to maintain offensive pressure. If her performs this move in the middle of the stage, Rashid can activate his Level 2 Super Art and potentially put the opponent in a mix-up situation.
