Description

Executed by pressing forward and Heavy Punch, Lucia interlocks her fingers and swings her leading elbow downward on top of her opponent.

Tactics

ElbowCrush

As an overhead attack, the main purpose is to break through the defenses of an opponent who insists on crouch guarding (as the attack must be blocked from a standing position). The draw back causes considerable delay, and this attack can easily be countered by an aggressive opponent by hitting her beforehand. Similar to most overheads, this attack is unsafe on block. Additionally, because of this move's limited, Lucia needs to be close to her opponent in order for Elbow Crush to connect. While it is -7 on block, it can be difficult for her opponent to punish if properly spaced.

Elbow Crush inflicts slightly more damage than other characters' overheads. Additionally, this attack can be used to get meaty overhead setups. If Lucia scores a Counter Hit with this move, she can link into Crouching Light Punch for a small combo. In most cases, Elbow Crush is used as a surprise attack to win the round after conditioning the opponent to constantly crouch block.
