Description[]
Executed by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick simultaneously (or pressing Drive Impact for Modern Control), JP steps forward to thrust the head of his cane into his opponent.
Tactics[]
Like all Drive Impacts, Espada has 2-hits of armor during the startup frames. This makes it useful to absorb the opponent's attacks and retaliating as they are recovering. Hitting the opponent with Espada as a Punish Counter puts them crumple state on hit, giving JP enough time to start a high-damaging combo. In the middle of the screen, this move can push the opponent back on block. This allows JP to create separation and continue zoning out his opponent with projectiles or Departure setups.
