Face Buster (フェイスバスター Feisubasutā?) is one of Ed's throws, introduced in Street Fighter 6.

Ed ramming his shoulder into Cammy's chin using Face Buster.

Executed by performing a forward motion and pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (or the Light Attack and Medium Attack for Modern Control) near an opponent. After grabbing the opponent by the head, Ed pulls the opponent toward him, resting their head on his shoulder. He then steps forward and squats down. Ed then quickly rises to a standing position, ramming his shoulder into his opponent's chin. With the opponent stunned, Ed delivers an overhand hook with his front hand across the opponent's temple, blasting across the stage.

While Ed's main gameplan is to pester the opponent with mid-range pokes and long-range special moves, utilizing his throw makes him a huge threat at close range. Face Buster inflicts respectable damage and knocks the opponent back toward midscreen. From there, Ed has a variety of follow-ups. He can perform Kill Rush to quickly dash toward his opponent and maintain offensive pressure. He can also fire a projectile at the opponent. In the corner, Ed can walk forward and put the opponent in a throw loop. Ed can also charge up his Psycho Flicker during the opponent's recovery. Even if they block, Ed still retains frame advantage, potentially setting them up for another throw.
