Executed by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick simultaneously, Juri throws a low kick that creates a swirling field of mist around her feet. While the opponent is touching this mist, they will pulse white and their EX meter will be drained, adding it to her EX meter.
Tactics[]
As a 2-bar V-Trigger, Feng Shui Engine Beta lasts about twelve seconds upon activation. The low kick during the activation does mediocre damage, but vacuums in the opponent on hit and lets her combo afterward, even when juggled into. On activation, Juri gains all three stocks of her Fuharenkyaku. As such, this V-Trigger highly benefits constantly pressuring the opponent. The low kick by itself is also relatively safe on hit, on block, and on whiff, and cannot be interrupted by a V-Reversal.
The mist's effects only occur while both Juri and the opponent are on the ground. The draining is paused if either character is thrown or in the air, or while Juri is either blocking or being hit. Worth noting is that the Medium Fuharenkyaku is also considered airborne, making it a potentially detrimental option. If the opponent decides to back away, Juri can either use her V-Skill to close the gap or use the time to gather her Fuharenjin stocks.
