Neco Drop 2 is the sequel to Neco Drop. It was released on April 1st, 2021, as a part of April Fools' Day. This game now features more cats, a story and new items to help the player completing the puzzles. It was taken down on April 9th, 2021, but re-released on April 1st, 2022. Any progress made in 2021 carried over to the 2022 release.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay is similar to the first game, but with different puzzles and new content. The original four Puzzle Gimmicks (Gem, Crate, Bonus Stage and Mobi-chan) have been retained and the new four are added：
- Bubble - Clearing a block inside bubble will break it.
- Barrel - Clearing a block next to this piece will break it.
- Car - Clearing a block next to this piece will break it, takes three times to break.
- Cat head - It can only be destroyed in cleared line or bursts.
The game included four items that can assist in puzzles:
- Kitty Punch - Destroys one block.
- Kitty Uppercut - Destroys a vertical line of blocks.
- Kitty Headbutt - Destroys a horizontal line of blocks.
- Kitty Shuffle - Changes the position of common blocks.
The player starts with five of each item, and more can be obtained via Item Get, where the player bets on a fighter, and if the fighter wins, the player gains two tickets to obtain items in a roulette. If the fighter loses, the player still gains one ticket. The betting is also used on continues, the player gaining more turns by winning or only a few when losing.
Instead of all cats being found in a single area, now they are divided into four areas, each with twelve cats, two of them being rare to encounter. This makes it easier to locate specific cats, as they change when moving to other areas or after using Item Get.

Story[]
The main story is unlocked as the player progresses in the game by befriending cats, while side stories become available by befriending all cats featured in each story.
Opening[]
You have been turned into a cat when entering this world, that's when you meet Lucifurr and later Ororo; while Lucifurr has no idea what humans are and pronounces them as "hoo-mans", Ororo tells you that there's a way to go back to your world and that is, by winning Puzzle games and befriending the cats from that world.
Episode 1[]
After you made friends with other cats, Lucifurr asks if you like cats, your answer is that you like them, then she asks you "why go back to your own world?" which you replies that it is because it's tempting to stay in that world but you have to go back anyways. Ororo then arrives and corrects Lucifurr's mispronunciation on the word "human" and tells you he has seen like 4 or 5 of those in their world as far as he knows, then he tells about a game that's popular around the cats of their world and it was what humans taught them to, Lucifurr in shock adds that's also a game the cats were betting on, Ororo then recalls that the people who made that game "must be a weird bunch". Finishing his speech, Ororo decides to go find a disciple, but Lucifurr tells him to give up on that and nobody will be his disciple but Ororo just simply tell her to buzz off and leaves, shortly after, you leave to continue your mission after a short speech with the police officer.
Episode 2[]
After you made more friends, you notices Lucifurr is dealing with cats who are loitering around the streets, after approaching her you ask her what's wrong and she simply tells that she's doing her rounds. The surprise you had led you to a curiosity about this world's safety, Lucifurr then tells you that the town is "as rough as they come" and tells you someone founds them in some catnip, in worriness, you tells her that by comparison with your world, there basically aren't any problems at all, but the police officer don't believe it is too much. You then says that you have a job but you don't really like it, she then insists again that you should stay but you tells that despite the negative descriptions, you still have to go home, after understanding your decision, Lucifurr decides to led you to another place where you'll befriend more cats.
Episode 3[]
You starts to get tired after befriending even more cats, Lucifurr then arrives comments on it, you mention that cats loving puzzles are pretty rare but for Lucifurr it's normal, she even mentions that are cats with wings like a bat and cats with lion faces but she's not sure if it's completely true; she then recalls that there are cats that transforms with jewels and a cat with a mechanical arm that gets long, but don't believe in the second one being true, Ororo then arrives and tells you that you can go home without completing puzzles too, Lucifurr then questions Ororo's idea of making you play puzzles but he replies it is the fastest way and it took days and days for the last humans to get home and recalls it doesn't matter how many cats you befriend with. The police officer then recalls that you can just play with the cats instead of doing puzzles, and Ororo confrims it but puzzles is what cats around there do lately and it is the easisest way to find a lot of them, both you and Lucifurr are confused but Ororo don't understand that either, telling that some humans like to make friends while some others just went straight home. Lucifurr asks you about the feelings about it and you replies you had a lot of fun since your arrival to that world and you guess it is a lot less stressing, the police officer asks if you are then in the right track and Ororo says that then you'll be going home soon, finally Lucifurr decides to take you to the last place she thinks for you to go and points its direction, you thank her in advice and leaves to where she led you to go, she then questions what did Ororo mean with "going home soon" but he simply went to sleep, angering the police officer who says "sleeping is not an answer!".
Ending[]
You thank Lucifurr and Ororo for making friends with you, once the police officer wakes the cat hermit up, he tells that he thinks you're ready to go. Your body suddenly start to glow, it is time to go back to your world, you thank Lucifurr and Ororo for everything and hopes to see her again some time, she replies that you can go visit them again if you start feeling down again but it's actually better for you if you didn't have to, if that's the only reason of your arrival of course, you then turn around and thank the other cats for everything, you finally say goodbye and vanishes back to your world, where you recover your senses and in middle of the darkness and your eyes adjusting, you realized you're on the path to your home, you decided to check your smartphone and find it has been several hours since you're gone, so you decided to hurry on get back home where you see someone waiting for you at the entrance, once opening the door, you see the one waiting for you was your beloved cat waiting for you on the other side, you pet your cat once arriving, telling it "who is a nice cat", finishing the story.
Final Fight Make-Believe[]
Taylor wants to play Final Fight make-believe, with Lucifurr as the one who gets the phone call from the Mad Cats, Tamer representing all enemies, Tireman as the boss, and Olde Cat as Jessica. In the end, Tamer and Tireman are not pleased with their roles, and they beat down Taylor. Olde Cat aids Taylor, and Taylor says that on his next life he needs to find someone cuter to play Jessica.
Is This Neo Shadaloo?[]
Eddy presents the members from Neo Shadaloo under his command: Furke, the Mysterious Gorilla, and a guy he doesn't know the name, saying that it's probably "Scraggybeard" or something similar. The story ends informing that the scene has no relation to the actual story.
Nekodrop: NES Edition[]
Robbie is playing Neko Drop for a whole week as the game lacks a save function, and only needs to befriend one more cat. However, Amazon and Cherrypie appear to play with him, and they accidentally press the reset button while playing.
Welcome to the Fortune Teller's Tent[]
After attending Urimeow and Coolin, Rosie says it's time for Crystal to attempt reading the next costume's fortune, the newlyweds Myelsim and Lalala. While chatting with them, Lalala reveals the secret of Myelsim's curry, its simplicity shocking Rosie.
Anti-aging Breathing[]
Headband asks Mr. Turtle why he knows so much about everything, and Ororo asks which one he is asking to. Headband asks if he is starting to lose it at his old age as it is obvious who he is talking with, and Ororo angrily says that his mind is still sharp and that he is named Ororo (Mr. Turtle being his turtle). Chun-chun repeats Headband's question, and Ororo informs that it is because he had a long live. He also says that when one gets as old as him, the mind and body would usually turn to mush, but he never slacked his training and mastered anti-aging breathing, and there is no chance he would ever lose it. Champ is surprised and apologizes for being rude to assume he would lose it. Ororo forgives Champ and reveals his secret, a powerful book teaching about immortality that he had found when he was young, and invites the trio to see his books. Believing that he may have gathered some interesting books over the years, they accept. While Ororo does have many books, all of them are copies of "Staying Young for Dummies", and Chun-Chun says that he completely lost it.
Glitch City[]
While looking for her brother, Aki got lost and ended in a city she had never been to before. She gets nervous with all the strange things happening there: Meowseth appears and screams "Where am I?", and Aki asks "Who are you!?". Meowseth assuming that his name is "Who". Aki asks if the cat is okay, but Spider appears and hits Meowseth, sending the cat away. Mr. President appears giving a speech, and Spider leaves, with Mr. President following her. After that, Satsui and Myecalli appear and fight each other. Drills appears and asks Aki if she is lost. Thinking she finally had luck finding someone normal, she says she is completely lost, and Drills changes into Goldlocks, saying that he will show her the way.
Nyadeko out of Left (Right) Field![]
After a long training, Mikan, Myangief and Aflex go to C.Honda's house to take a bath, but they arrive at the time of its closing. After seeing Mikan, C.Honda says he will make an exception for her, slowly approaching her. Nyadeko appears out of nowhere and sends C.Honda flying away, with C.Honda saying that the cats look like ants from where he was.
The Goods We're Looking For[]
Ms. Donka heard that the cats with the goods they are looking for are nearby, and observes Myashid and Assam to see if they have it. They just got an item they had ordered, the "Mr. Best Answer Deluxe Limited Edition", an AI that gives great advice. Assam asks Myashid to be careful and patient when opening the box and to read the manual first, but Myashid can't wait and just rips the box and turns it on. After a little chat, the device warns that something unpleasant will soon occur. The two panic, and when its countdown ends, they are annoyed when it informs that the battery ended and must be connected to recharge. Ms. Donka says that's not what they are looking for.
The Despot that Gets It[]
Trooper is looking forward for the "Ms. Drills Meet & Greet Event" tomorrow, but he got a lot of work to do. Willa Maiu tells him to use his paid vacation days before they expire, but Trooper is afraid to ask Poison Tongue, knowing that he would not approve it. Willa Maiu encourages him to asks and he does. Claw and Punch appear playing tag. When Trooper approaches Poison Tongue, the latter asks if the commoner is excited for tomorrow's obligatory training sessions. Trooper panics, thinking he already knew what he was going to ask. Boss appears and asks Poison Tongue if he could cancel tomorrow's training session, as he wishes to see Ms. Drills Meet & Greet Event. Poison Tongue cancels it for Boss, and Trooper happily follows his leader, being loyal to him.
Lost Memories of Live Action[]
Sawanya appears and attempts to make Major remember him, to no avail, with Major even asking if he is a revived Charlie. Kylie tells Major who he is, and Sawanya is happy that she remembered him. However, Sawanya is dismayed when Kylie tells Major she got the details from his profile in the Shadaloo Combat Research Institute.
