Description[]

MaxPower

Executed by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick simultaneously, Abigail roars as his entire body becomes red upon activation. Steam arises from his body as a symbol of his increase in intensity and strength. While this V-Trigger is active, Abigail can increase the power of his Heavy Punch attacks to inflict devastating amounts of damage.

Tactics[]

When this V-Trigger is active, Abigail's offensive and pressure game is amplified drastically. As long as this V-Trigger is active, his Heavy Punch attacks can be charged to inflict more damage. This includes his Standing/Crouching Heavy Punch, Abi Lift, Abi Blaster, or his Abi Twist target combo. In addition, Abigail gains one-hit of armor during the startup and active frames of these attacks.

Each of Abigail's Heavy Punch attacks' properties change when performing the charged version. By pressing and holding the Heavy Punch button, Abigail can charge up his attack to gain additional damage and properties on hit or on block. If Heavy Punch is held for the maximum amount of frames, then Abigail's attack causes a guard break.

Standing Heavy Punch[]

Holding and releasing Heavy Punch in between frames 30-44 results in the second level of Abigail's Standing Heavy Punch. Hitting his opponent at this level puts the opponent in a crumple state. This serves as a huge combo starter that can be linked into any one of Abigail's attacks, creating huge combo and damage potential.

Crouching Heavy Punch[]

Holding and releasing Heavy Punch in between frames 21-39 results in the second level of Abigail's Crouching Heavy Punch. Hitting his opponent at this level puts the opponent in a juggle state. While this combo starter is not as rewarding as Standing Heavy Punch, it allows Abigail to cancel into his Nitro Charge or Giant Flip.

Abi Lift[]

Releasing Heavy Punch in between frames 17-30 results in the second level of Abi Lift. Hitting his opponent at this level causes a wall bounce. It also prevents them from back-rising. This serves as a solid combo extender from a fully charged Standing Heavy Punch, which then can be linked into a charged Crouching Heavy Punch, resulting in some of Abigail's most damaging combos.

Abi Blaster[]

Releasing Heavy Punch in between frames 17-30 results in the second level of Abi Blaster. It causes a blowback knockdown if it hits the opponent in midair. Abigail also gains one hit of armor at the startup. In addition, Abigail can reflect his opponent's projectile attacks, with the exception of Critical Art. This include multi-hitting and EX projectiles. A fully charged attack reflects all of his opponents projectiles, including their Critical Arts.

Abi Twist[]

Hitting the opponent with a (fully) charged Abi Twist launches them in the air, giving Abigail a free opportunity to extend the combo with another charged Abi Twist or end the combo with Abigail Punch.

Because Max Power is a 3-bar V-Trigger, Abigail has to sacrifice a decent amount of health in order to obtain it. Additionally, each usage of a charged Heavy Punch attack consumes about 1/4 of his V-Gauge. However, the amount of damage he can inflict in one combo is immense. This V-Trigger gives Abigail a tool to swing the momentum of the fight back to his side, if he can get one charged Heavy Punch attack to hit.
