Description

- "A combination attack that can be canceled into a special move."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by pressing down and Medium Kick, followed by pressing down and Heavy Kick, Terry strikes the opponent with a low kick before launching them upwards with a high kick. In the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters series, the first kick was a slide and it was done with a quarter-circle back motion or reverse Shoryuken motion and kick depending on the game.
Tactics
This attack launches on hit, allowing for follow-ups into special moves. It is primarily used to whiff punish the opponent. Fire Kick also gives Terry a way to hit-confirm from a low attack. It is -16 on block, making it risky to use in the neutral game. Additionally, Terry cannot cancel into a special move if the opponent blocks the second kick. However, he can perform a Cancel Drive Rush to make it difficult to punish against an opponent without a reliable reversal.
