Description
- "A quick combination that hits multiple times."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by pressing Light Kick (or pressing Light Attack) three consecutive times, Ed delivers three consecutive flicker jabs at the opponent's head.
Tactics
This move is one of Ed's target combos. The initial attack has a 6-frame startup and decent range for a Light normal. Because of its range, Ed can use Flicker Combination to whiff punish the opponent from a distance. While the total damage inflicted is minimal at best, this target combo brings Ed closer to the opponent. He is +1 on hit, allowing him to follow up with another strike or go for a throw. Flicker Combination's last flicker jab can break through Drive Impacts. It is also good for clearing the distance or as a blockstring if delayed. The second hit is safe at -3, making it possible to treat it akin to a Rekkaken as a way to pester the opponent.
Trivia
- Flicker Combination is visually similar to Ed's Psycho Flicker in Street Fighter V.
