Description[]
- "Latch onto your opponent, place both feet on their torso, and toss them behind you while falling backward. Throws your opponent while switching places with them."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) while holding back on the control stick near an opponent. Dee Jay grabs the back of his opponent's head and places the balls of his feet into his opponent's midsection. As he drops to the ground, Dee Jay shifts his weight so that he falls backwards to the ground while forcing the opponent to fall forward. With the opponent on top, Dee Jay pushes up with his legs; forcing the opponent to flip forward over him and landing on to their back. If no directional input or button is pressed, Dee Jay sways and dances momentarily before dropping back to his stance.
Tactics[]
This move is mainly used to create separation and put the opponent back in the corner. While Flip Throw resets the neutral game in midscreen, Dee Jay is +3 if he puts the opponent in the corner. He can then approach his opponent and force them to guess his next attack. Dee Jay can keep the opponent on their heels by putting them in a throw loop, or use Jus Cool to put them in a guessing situation. With a plethora of tools to open up the opponent, Dee Jay is more of a threat when he has them in a corner.
