Description[]
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) and pushing backwards near an opponent. Poison jumps onto the opponent's shoulders in a seated position. She then performs a back flip to swing through her opponent's open legs, using her own momentum to drag the opponent into a forced somersault. As Poison smoothly lands on all fours, her opponent crashes back-first on the ground.
Tactics[]
This throw along side Slap Shot can be used to break the defense of a blocking opponent. The Frankensteiner is a good move to use when her opponent is close to stun. By using her back throw to stun her opponent, this gives Poison excellent damage and combo potential without much scaling. While Frankensteiner inflicts more damage and stun than her forward throw, it leaves Poison much further away from her opponent. However, this still plays to her advantage since she specializes in zoning out her opponent with long-range normals and special attacks.
Trivia[]
- This move is arguably based on a popular professional wrestling move called the Frankensteiner, which is used by many high-flying professional wrestlers, such as Rey Mysterio and Scott Steiner.
