Executed by performing a quarter-circle forward motion and pressing kick, Juri gathers some dark energy in her foot as she swings it. If the kick button is tapped, the energy is launched immediately like any other projectile. If held, however, Juri proceeds to fight as normal.

However, when the kick button being held is released, she unleashes the projectile energy attack via swinging her leg again. The move can also be dash-canceled after the charge, and if done this way, the button does not need to be held. The stored charge is fired when the move is inputted again.

The path of the projectile is determined by the kick button used: light kick version fires it along the ground at a low height that allows it to get under any projectile (except Sagat's Low Tiger Shot); medium kick version fires it horizontally at chest-height; and heavy kick version fires it upward at a 45° angle as an anti-air attack.

The EX Special version requires no charge and can fire its projectile, which also hits twice, at various angles depending on the 2-button combination used: light with medium kick is horizontally ground-level; light with heavy kick is horizontally at torso-height; and medium with heavy kick is diagonal upwards[1].

In Street Fighter 6, the attack is combined with Fuharenkyaku. The strength of the kick determines the initial kick's startup and the height the opponent is launched. Upon completion, Juri gains a Fuha stock, reaching up to three total. She can then spend her stocks to enhance her other moves Saihasho, Ankensatsu, and Go Ohsatsu, giving them more damage and better advantage on hit. Juri can also cancel an enhanced special move into another by spending a second stock, letting her deal more damage off a conversion or making her safe using an enhanced Saihasho.

The Overdrive versions of her Fuha attacks are performed by using different button combinations, with Light and Medium Kick firing Saihasho, Light and Heavy performing Ankensatsu, and Medium and Heavy resulting in Go Ohsatsu. Each do not cost a stock for the initial attack, but will cost one for any follow-ups along with two stocks of the Drive Gauge.

Tactics[]

The initial start-up is useful, as it will knockdown on hit, and can absorb projectiles with proper timing. It is also possible to store more than one charge per button, allowing for a plethora of combo opportunities[1].

What must be borne in mind is that if the kick button is released while Juri is not in a position to fire it (such as in the middle of a jump or while floored), nothing will happen and the charge will be lost.

As the Fuha stocks are independent from button strength, Juri can choose to spend them in other ways, namely using Saihosho to keep her safe.
