Fully Armed (レンジアームズ Renji Āmuzu?, "Range Arms") is Luke's first V-Trigger in Street Fighter V.

In Street Fighter 6, the move is now repurposed into a regular Super Art, now called the Vulcan Blast.

Description[]

Street Fighter V[]

Fully Armed

Executed by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick simultaneously, Luke raises his fist as it glows with energy. While active, Luke can use Rock Smasher, a barrage of three Sand Blasters, knocking the opponent down. If the player activates Rock Smasher during an EX Sand Blaster, it becomes Thermobaric Thrash; increasing the hit count from three to five.

Like his second V-Trigger, Vanguard, the V-Timer only goes down when its effects are in use - otherwise, regular play refills the timer.

Street Fighter 6[]

"Fire multiple high-speed Sand Blasts. Its swift speed makes it useful in projectile wars and combos."
—Description, Vulcan Blast, Street Fighter 6

Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and punch, Luke throws out five Sand Blasters in quick succession, akin to Thermobaric Thrash.

Tactics[]

Street Fighter V[]

Fully Armed makes Luke's fullscreen presence even stronger than before. Rock Smasher can be cancelled from normal attacks, target combos, and Sand Blaster, letting Luke convert into a safe ender that knocks down on hit. It is also considerably good at dealing chip damage, and can be thrown out to attack opponents quickly from nearly anywhere on screen. Furthermore, Luke's unique V-Trigger mechanics mean that the opponent cannot simply try to run away while Fully Armed is activated, forcing them to confront him while he steadily gains his V-Timer back.

However, due to the long duration of Luke's punches while firing Rock Smasher and Thermobaric Thrash, one must be careful not to be predictable in its usage, as they can be jumped over and punished. In particular, certain V-Reversals can be performed on reaction to EX Sand Blaster cancelling into Thermobaric Thrash, letting the opponent stay invincible during some of the projectiles and jump over the last one for a devastating punish.

Street Fighter 6[]

As a Level 1 Super Art, Vulcan Blast cannot be cancelled from special moves, however certain setups from Flash Knuckle let Luke juggle into the move instead. Rather than being an option to keep Luke safe, Vulcan Blast is incredibly risky on whiff and block, much like other projectile supers. Though its Super Art priority means it breaks through other projectiles, the wide hurtbox and slightly less than fullscreen range means that it must be done preemptively.
