G Spin Kick is one of G's special attacks, introduced in Street Fighter V.

Input
Street Fighter V Quarter-circle forward+Kick

Description

GSpinKick

Executed by performing a quarter-circle forward motion and pressing kick, G leaps forward and spins with one of his legs extended, delivering a wheel kick.

The EX version of this move is essentially the same as the Level 3 Presidentiality. During the kick, a trail of magma projects from G's foot. If the first kick hits the opponent, it sends them tumbling into the air, allowing G to follow up with a second wheel kick that knocks them back.

Tactics

This move is one of G's more versatile attacks. It's wide hitbox can make it difficult for his opponent to avoid. G Spin Kick can be linked from most of his normals. It is mostly used to end combos, with the exception of his Level 2 version. A primary choice would be to anti-air his opponent with Strong President to put them in a juggle state, while ending the combo with G Spin Kick for additional damage.

The strength of the punch button pressed determines the move's startup and distance travel. The Light version has the fastest startup, but covers about 1/4 of the screen. The Medium version has a slower startup, but better range than the Light version. The Heavy version has the slowest startup, but travels about 3/4 of the screen. Regardless of which punch button is pressed, the damage output of this move remains the same. It is also -5 on block, making it somewhat punishable from point-blank range.

Increasing his Presidentiality level gives G Spin Kick more damage and better properties overall. The startup frames are slightly decreased, giving G more combo potential on hit.

Level Description
Lv.1 Default with no follow-up
Lv.2 Becomes +5 on hit, making it a decent combo extender
Lv.3 Hits 3 times and is projectile invincible; -2 on block

G can also cancel this move into Message To The People build meter or G Charge to increase the level of his Presidentiality. He can also cancel into his Critical Art.
