|Street Fighter V||+ (Forward)|
Description[edit | edit source]
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) near an opponent. Lucia first moves behind her opponent and wraps her arms around their waist. With her fingers interlocking along their body, Lucia bridges with her back and legs to lift her opponent off of their feet. She finishes the throw by slamming her opponent shoulders and back-first on the ground.
Tactics[edit | edit source]
Lucia is an all-rounded fighter who can excel in rushing down her opponent or keeping them at a distance with her fireballs. On top of that, her throws are essential to her offense. While she can put on the brakes during her Gun Smoke to keep her opponent guessing, it also allows Lucia to sneak in a throw and break through their defenses.
German Suplex does less damage and stun, compared to her back throw. However, it leaves Lucia very close to her opponent, giving her better okizeme. After her forward throw, she can follow up with a meaty Standing Medium Kick or Standing Heavy Punch to maintain offensive pressure. If she uses German Suplex in the corner, then Lucia can cancel her meaty Standing Heavy Punch into her EX Light Flipper Shot to continue pressure and keep her opponent on the defense.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- This move is arguably based on a popular professional wrestling move called the German Suplex, which is used by many professional wrestlers such as Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar.
- This is the second instance of a female character utilizing a German suplex and Lucia being the only female in this game that can utilize the maneuver as Cammy lost her Hooligan Suplex.
- Lucia's German Suplex differs from other characters as she lifts the opponent by the lower arms just over the armpit area, which is how the throw is somewhat performed. However, Guile lifts his opponent's arms over their heads to performed the Dragon Suplex.
- For Cammy's Hoolagan Suplex hold her opponent by the waist. This is how the German Suplex is traditionally performed.
