Description[]

JamieVsCammy

Jamie & Cammy squaring off.

"A sequence of attacks that breaks an opponent's posture, and then finishes by kicking them into the air after forcing them to take a swing at you. After the opponent has been launched, it is possible to continue your offensive with a follow-up attack."
Street Fighter 6

Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing punch, Jamie slides on his knees for a low-blow, then sweeps his opponent's legs for a kick. As a Super, Jamie waits for his opponent to stand up while in a stance, offering to let them strike. The screen then goes slightly greyscale and borders appear at both the top and bottom of the screen. As his opponent tries to strike him, Jamie parries their punch, smacks them around, then kicks them high with a Senkyutai-style kick with both feet.

When used as a Critical Art, the double kick at the end is replaced by Jamie clasping his opponent's neck/Adam's apple with his index finger & thumb, then twisting it and pulling his hand away sharply. And if opponent is KO'ed by this CA, unique K.O. text ("終劇") shows instead common text.

Tactics[]

Jamie choking Cammy during Getsuga Saiho.

In contrast to most Level 3 Super Arts, Getsuga Saiho deals considerably less damage than the usual 4000, but in exchange Jamie can follow up with a wide range of options depending on his Drive Gauge and Drink stocks. With no stocks, a Swagger Step can suffice, but further combos using a Drive Rush can deal considerably more damage, with the added potential of corner carry, screen position, and even a tricky reset into a Drive Impact. The Critical Art version does not allow for follow-ups, however it deals the standard Critical Art damage.
