When encountered as a boss in ''Street Fighter V''<nowiki/>'s Arcade Mode, he is permanently in both of his V-Triggers, has his ''3rd Strike'' coloration effect, and uses both Meteor Strike and Resurrection alongside Seraphic Wing. As a boss, this gives Gill the most Critical Arts of any character seen in the game, including other special encounters. As a boss in Arcade Mode, he is not quite as difficult as he was in ''Street Fighter III''; however, in Extra Battle Mode, there is a variation boss named '''Omega Gill''', who is even tougher than his original ''Street Fighter III'' incarnation, because unlike in ''Street Fighter III'' and in the regular Arcade Mode of ''Street Fighter V'', he cannot be hit out of his Resurrection Critical Art.
