Description
A.K.I isolating Cammy's arm during Gluttony.
- "Grab and twist your opponent's arm, making them falter, and then blow them away with a painful thrust attack. Throws your opponent while switching places with them."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by performing a back motion and pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (or the Light Attack and Medium Attack for Modern Control) near an opponent. As A.K.I. sidesteps past her opponent, she snakes her front arm underneath and around her opponent's front elbow. With her opponent staggering, she then sneaks her other arm underneath their isolated limb. With a hand on their back, A.K.I. gives her opponent a small shove to get them in a crouched position. As her opponent tries to recover, A.K.I. jabs both sets of claws into their gut, blasting them back a fair distance.
Tactics
A.K.I thrusting her claws into Cammy.
While A.K.I.'s gameplan is to carve away the opponent's health bar by constantly putting them in a poisoned state, mixing her attacks with her throws can frustrate them and force them to make a mistake. The threat of trigging a Toxic Blossom on a poisoned opponent may cause the opponent to freeze up and play defensively or passively. This allows A.K.I. to close the distance and perform Gluttony to switch sides with the opponent. It also creates separation between her opponent, giving her enough time to throw out an Nightshade Pulse. If she has her opponent in the corner, A.K.I can either walk or dash forward to put the opponent in a situation to defend against another throw or a potential strike.
Trivia
