Description[]
- "After sending your opponent to their knees with a vicious tackle, hit them with a devastating punch that sends them flying against the wall. A versatile move that can counter projectiles, be used in combos, and can turn the tables when under pressure."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing kick, Marisa flexes her muscles before tackles her opponent. If the initial attack hits the opponent, Marisa rams her shoulder into her opponent's midsection, causing them to collapse on one knee while clutching their stomach. As the stunned opponent looks up, the statuesque fighter towers above them. She kisses her back fist and delivers a massive uppercut to the opponent's chin. The force of the punch sends the opponent bouncing on the ground before crashing into a wall, which crumbles as they fall back to the floor. After the attack is finished, Marisa follows the opponent to the corner of the stage.
When used as a Critical Art, Marisa approaches the opponent once more and delivers a second punch while the opponent is still stuck in the wall, striking them square in the face. Marisa twists her fist around so a heart shape is imprinted on her opponent's face before they fall.
Tactics[]
Goddess of the Hunt is Marisa's Level 3 Super Art, making it her strongest move in her arsenal. She can cancel this move from her normals, unique attacks, or special moves such as Gladius or Quadriga. When Marisa is down to 25% or less of her health, this move gain an additional boost of damage. She is fully invincible during the startup frames of this move. While it has short range and a 13 frame startup, it makes up for this by breaking armor and giving Marisa a free spot in the corner to punish opponents. Lastly, the move is invincible on startup and leaves Marisa 19 frames plus in advantage after the cinematic, while leaving the opponent at minus 19 frame advantage.
Trivia[]
