The Shoryu Rengoku (昇龍煉獄, "Rising Dragon Purgatory"; Also referred to as Goshoryu Counter or Ultimate Throw) is one of Akuma's X-Abilities in the fighting game X-Men: Children of the Atom.

Description[]
Executed by performing a quarter-circle backwards motion and pressing punch, Akuma stands in a taunt-like pose for two seconds. If the opponent hits Akuma while in this state, he then performs a multi-hitting Shoryuken infused with black flames which also has a burning effect.
Trivia[]
- This attack is essentially a Counter Attack version of his SFXTK Cross Cancel with the difference being that this version requires him to anticipate the attack to do his Dragon Punch while his Cross Cancel needs him to react in blockstun to do his Dragon Punch.
