Description

Gill slamming Cammy into the ground using Guilty Bomb.
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) and pushing backwards near an opponent. Gill places his opponent's head in between his legs, putting them in a standing headscissors position. With his arms around their waist, Gill lifts his opponent on his shoulders as he rotates his body to the opposite side of the stage. He then drops down to a seated position, slamming them back-first into the ground. If no directional input or button is pressed, Gill clenches his fist before dropping back in his stance.
Tactics
This throw is used to break through his opponent's defenses. It is also used to create separation from his opponent, allowing Gill to keep them at a distance with his projectiles. This move inflicts the same damage and stun as his forward throw. However, Guilty Bomb gives Gill more meter on hit. While he cannot dash forward to maintain pressure, he can throw out a meaty mid-range normal for a hit-confirm combo. Gill can also use his first V-Skill to apply pressure on their wake-up. Not only does his opponent have to respect the descending projectile, but this also gives Gill an opportunity to close the distance.
Trivia
- Guilty Bomb is similar to Urien's forward throw in Street Fighter V.
- This move is arguably based on a popular professional wrestling move called the "Powerbomb", invented by the late Lou Thesz.
- More specifically, the Guilty Bomb bears more similarities to a similar variations of this wrestling move called the "Spinning Sitout Powerbomb", which was popularized by other wrestlers such as Jushin Thunder Liger and Batista.
