Description

Executed by pressing Light Punch, and then Medium Punch, Gill first delivers a quick chop to the midsection. If the initial attack hits, Gill finishes the combination with a cross punch.

Tactics

This is one of Gill's target combos from close range. It does slightly more damage than his other target combo. Additionally, it can be cancelled into his special attacks, such as Pyrokinesis, or Cryokinesis. Gill can also cancel this target combo into his V-Trigger. While this combo is -5 on block, it can be difficult to punish Gill if he cancels into one of his projectiles to push them further back.

Despite the fact that the damage is minimal at best, Guilty Straight can serve as a combo starter or extender. His Standing Light Punch has a 4-frame startup, making it GIll's go-to move for quick punishes. By linking with Standing Medium Punch and cancelling into one of his special attacks, Gill can inflict a decent amount of damage with this target combo. In addition, Guilty Straight can be cancelled from Pyro/Cryo Cyber Lariat, allowing him to extend combos and maintain offensive pressure.
