Hand Machinegun is Rufus's back throw in Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter X Tekken.
Description[]
Rufus somewhat comically (considering his massive frame) climbs his opponent and wraps his legs around their body, while elevated he proceeds to punch his opponent's face with speed that potentially rival E. Honda 's Hundred Hand Slap. He then proceeds to jump off his opponent and hits his opponent in their rear end to send them face first into the ground.
Tactics[]
Street Fighter IV[]
Despite having the same opportunities as Head Bazooka, Hand Machinegun is largely ignored. Even with the damage nerf in Ultra Head Bazooka still does five more points of damage. The positioning of this attack is not as favorable to Rufus either compared to his forward throw. This attack can be used in some positioning to move the opponent into a corner. However this is not a benefit of Hand Machinegun specifically rather a trait common to all back throws.
Street Fighter X Tekken[]
Due to the added Roll mechanic, this attack is more useful. However ,even if Rufus grabs his opponent out of a roll with this if they are in the corner, his opponent will not be sent back all the way; meaning the opponent will be a bit further than where they originally rolled from. Hand Machinegun suffers greatly from the Falcon Kick nerfs alongside the universal 2-frame increase from the main games for throws to activate just as much as Head Bazooka did. Unlike Head Bazooka, Hand Machinegun can't be comboed out of by Rufus's partner in Cross Assault or Scramble Battle.
