Hayate win effect
Ibuki unsheathes a katana using a battō technique to deliver numerous blows at high speeds that "literally" slice and dice the opponent.
In terms of how this attack functions initially, it is very similar to her SF×TK incarnation of Yoroitoshi with being a horizontal lunging strike hitbox with some invincibility frames..

- Hayate is also the name of a ninja from the Dead Or Alive series. By pure coincidence another ninja, Momiji, of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive fame, has a move sequence called "Ibuki".
- This is Ibuki's only attack that can have a unique animation from the rest of the cast when she wins using the mighty combo.
- The animation itself is based on the famous Japanese painting The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
- Makoto also has an attack that shares this attack's name, however they are very different.
